I am sorry for the late reply but the firmware packages are universal for all uConnect 5 models released by Fiat, the installer will detect your hardware model and install the relevant modules that your infotainment system has (e.g. If I avoid a factory reset and just try to delete the connection (from both UConnect and our phones) and re-establish it, UConnect only sees our phones as music and calling capable. However the problem comes back in less than a day. So far my only work around is to do a factory reset from the UConnect menu. They were working fine when we left the dealership in our GCL Summit, but by the next day, Carplay disappeared from the apps menu, and UConnect gets stuck “connecting” to the phone. Both, my iPhone X and my wife’s iPhone 12, are no longer able to use CarPlay after 2 days of ownership. I’m having frustrating issues with Apple CarPlay. ![]()
